I went to a garage sale down the street, at the house of someone I bought a corolla from a few years back.
The man walked up to me, and said I owe him $50, he claimed the car was sold for $500, and I only gave his wife $450. However, I have a bill of sale which his wife signed that says $450. I told him this, and he told me I could leave, and could only come back when I gave him the $50.
I said he was in breach of contract because he did not give me the title. The contract which was signed says that if he does not give me the title within 60 days, he is in breach of contract and has to return my money.
That was over two years ago. I told him, and he said "Well, when you give me the $50, I'll get the title."
So later today, or some time soon, me and my dad are going to go show him the contract, and inform him he owes me $450. If he doesn't give it to me, I may take him to small claims court, as he is in breach of contract.
This makes me mad.

Slightly lonely [Apr. 6th, 2006|08:29 pm]
[mood |calmcalm]

On a slightly angsty subject (don't worry, t isn't too bad), I feel rather lonely.
I know I shouldn't, but sometimes when I see all these happy (or seemingly happy) couples at school, I feel lonely.
I'm not even completely sure what it is I want about a relaitonship. I suppose companionship,. Someone to sit and talk to, spend time with. Maybe a hug sometimes, or sitting by eachother in the lounge at school.
I know, I'm silly. I should be happy being single. I just feel lonely sometimes.

I was sitting in the lounge at school today, and a friend was somewhat confused about what Laize Faire meant (in economics).
I was telling him, and someone else looks over at me, and yells, "Alright, conversation is over NOW, I am tired of hearing about it, I don't like your ideas, and you have no right to talk about them in here."
I laughed at him, and said, "I can talk about whatever I want, whenever I want, and however much I want. If it offends you, you can ask me nicely to stop, and I might consider it."
He replied, "You're going to make alot of people angry Josh."
Well, yeah. People like him, who don't want people to be able to talk about ideas that they don't like.
On an unrelated and interested note. I told someone today I was a devoit agnostic. I realy mean it, and have reasons, but he thought it was funny. He said, "Yeah, I an absolutely sure there might be something out there!" I enjoyed that. That's my new religious motto.
And yeah, I am posting here again. I need to find some more people to read it.

My school library had manga o.o
I was digging through the literature section, and found one manga; it was "Angel Sanctuary".
It was right next to a comic book about comics - development, philosophy, style, composition - which I also checked out.
I also got "The Dilbert future", which I ahve been wanting to read. For such a small school library, it isn't bad!
Also, I made some very good chili; all hail the good chili.
It is very tasty, and has very many ingredients in it.

New browser [Apr. 3rd, 2006|09:14 am]
[mood |happyhappy]

I just started using a new browser.
I have normally used Firefox, but now have switched to something called Avant.
So far, it seems to be faster, and even easier to use.
THe window pops up quicker than Firefox, and overall run speed is higher. Memory usage is significantly low. With 37 tabs open I had no problems with either memory or processor. And Avant still switched between tabs much faster than Firefox.
The interface is also very intuitive. Within seconds I was doing things I cannot do in Firefox, using lots of producitve shortcuts.
I like it!
If anyone is interested, the site is:

I finally figured out I do NOT have to take speach over the summer, in fact, I will never have to take it!
It's quite pleasing.
I have also discovered I will most likely add another minor at A&M.
This means I will graduate with a major in mechanical engineering, minors in mathematics and computer science, and probably a masters in something, not sure what yet.
It's going to be alot of fun!
I was also just looking at the card catalog for the library there, and it was amazing! So many more books than ACC. I doubt I will find the time to do all the rading I want to!
Plus, I looked into the rec center. Not only is there a weight room (which I abrely care about) but there is a swimming pool, and even a 44 foot rock wall!
I can hardly wait^_^

AC is broken @.@
It's hot @.@
In the 80s in my room. I can survive, as long as I do not move around too much, and drink lots of water.
In good news, I am looking at dorms at A&M this weekend!
Should be fun.

The green terror cometh! [Mar. 26th, 2006|02:40 pm]
[mood |scaredscared]

They're coming!
They will soon be here!
The worms!

In central texas we have something we usually call tree worms. I believe they are actually more like caterpillars, but not sure. They come every spring, and live in trees. The horror is, when they come out of the nest, they hang down from the trees by silk lines... Thousands... Tens of thousands of them... At all levels, from feet to face...
They are extremely hard to kill, because they nests are nearly watertight, and protect them from posions quite well. To kill them the nests have to be broken up or burned. We have LOTS of tall trees in our yards. If I want to go to my car, I ahve to swing a stick in front of me to clear them, and I must walk quickly, because a curtain of new ones drops directly after I get through.
It's going to be a tough spring...

Mead is good o.o
It's very yummy, though it doesn't taste much like honey.
I never drink much alcohol at all, but this stuff is tasty.
